Energy & Environmental Management (E&EM) is an innovative information portal bought to you by Ten Alps Plc, articulating the latest news, video and editorial content from leading organisations working across the energy and environmental management sector. New for 2010, the E&EM website has been designed for ultimate usability, offering professionals from all industries a multiplatform insight into this important marketplace.

Since its launch in 1977 by the then Department of Energy, E&EM has grown year-on year into the fully digital resource that exists today. Supported by a periodical e-magazine of the same title, including in-depth articles from an extensive panel of experts, this new digital product is the next stage in the E&EM brand development. With over 30 years in its making, E&EM has defined heritage helping to establish its distinctive identity in the environmental sector. Now fully digital, E&EM is true to its ethics as an environmentally responsible product, highly suited to the 21st century.

Over its lifetime E&EM has seen several changes in title and ownership under various governmental departments. By 1999 the magazine’s title had become Energy & Environmental Management under Michael Howard and the Department of the Environment. In 2008, current publishers Ten Alps decided to take the product solely online, and since then it has expanded to cover all areas at the heart of environmental debate, including renewables, climate change, energy efficiency, water technology, air emissions, waste & recycling, environmental management and the built environment.

These sections clearly define the website, and within each our viewers can find information on news, events, suppliers, recruitment and features specifically for each area of the marketplace.

Today we have a multi-functional, multi-platform offering dedicated to the energy & environment sector worldwide. The jewel in the crown of the new portal is E&EM TV, which plays host to a wealth of content in video format, ranging from short films to TV-quality adverts. This allows us to embed rich media across multiple points within the site, including our interactive eBook.

eaemjulyThe new portal also allows our readers to share our content with their friends, colleagues and business partners through the latest social networking sites and bookmarking services. You can also contact us, comment on features and find out what’s happening in the exciting world of E&EM through our Facebook and Twitter sites.

E&EM affords companies that are looking to target their products and services to environmental professionals with a variety of advertising packages; these can be tailored to individual requirements. Our packages include display advertising; enhanced suppliers guide entries; digital buttons; banners; MPUs; and even video adverts on your own dedicated TV channel.

E&EM is owned by Ten Alps Plc; a UK based multiplatform factual media company producing TV, online and print.
